TBR Tuesday #35; Island Love & Bad Boys

Screen Shot 2016-04-10 at 10.22.37 PMHello reader/s! For a while now, I’ve been writing a bi-weekly post about books that are on
my TBR. TBR, if you don’t know is the abbreviation for To Be Read. My goal here is to shed some light on books that I’ve otherwise forgotten about. These books could be books I’ve been meaning to read from the library, or books that have been collecting dust on my shelves at home. My goal though is to say a little about the book and also give a little reasoning of why I want to read them. In hopes of reading them sooner than later.

The two books I’ll be talking about on this TBR Tuesday are written by the same author. I’ve read another book by this author and enjoyed reading it, so I don’t know what to exactly expect with these two books.

unnamed-10The first book I’ll be talking about is What I Thought Was True by Huntley Fitzpatrick — Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance, Realistic Fiction.

What I Thought Was True features two kids from opposite sides of the track. Except, in this particular story, the one from the poorer side of town is Gwen, and the one from the rich side is Cassidy.

From reading the synopsis of What I Thought Was True, I’m hoping that there will be high emotional stakes! I’ve been wanting to read a juicy book lately. Hopefully What I Thought Was True, will be that book for me.

unnamed-11The second book I’ll be talking about in this post is The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick — Young Adult, Contemporary.

I’m looking forward to reading The Boy Most Likely To, since this book is the companion novel to My Life Next Door. I loved that book, so I can’t help but have high expectations for its companion novel!

Aside from that I’m revelling in the fact that the love interests for these two characters are the people they weren’t supposed to fall in-love with!!

I’m not too excited about the expected heartbreak that these two kids will go through, but holy smokes, I think it’d be worth it!

Have you read either of these books? Did you like them?

Happy Reading!
Adele
