ABOUT ME

Hi there! I assume that if you’ve clicked on the ABOUT ME link, you’d like to know more about the person behind the blog.

My name is Adele, and I’m in my mid-twenties. I was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada (think Vancouver).

Since I have a horrible, jumbled memory, I started Adele Is Reading as a journal of sorts. A reference to keep my thoughts on the books I’ve read. Now however, I talk about books in anyway that I can.

The genres I prefer to read are both Fantasy and Paranormal. And I know that, technically, Paranormal does fall under the Fantasy umbrella….but, I tend to read a tad more Paranormal stories than I do Fantasy.

I also read Mystery / Thriller / Suspense novels, as well as some Romance.

What I like to do when I’m not reading is visiting libraries! I love visiting as many libraries as I can. I especially enjoy seeing what books they have in location.

I also enjoy sewing projects, cross-stitching, watching anime, reading manga, and baking delicious recipes.

Another thing that I am rediscovering is my love for interior and architectural design.
