Hello there, friend.
I started this blog, Adele Is Reading for the sole purpose of reviewing, and talking about books. This blog is one of my few escapes. Adele Is Reading is also a diary of sorts, because I have a horrible memory. With that said, I cannot read all books I receive as an Advanced Reader Copy straight away. I have a busy personal life; my friends, my family, and my health absolutely come first.
I enjoy reading the main-genres I’ve listed below:
- Fantasy
- Paranormal
- Mystery / Thriller / Suspense
- Contemporary
- Romance
- LGBTQIA+
If I’ve accepted your book,
- You cannot expect to see your book within a limited time frame. I’ll try my best to get the review up right away. If you have a specific time frame in which you want the review up, you must state that when you contact me.
- If a book that has been given to me is an ARC, I will state so in my review.
- Any prospective books that come my way through any means, I check out on GoodReads. If your book isn’t on GoodReads, there’s a chance that I won’t accept your book. If I end up disliking your book, I will say so within the first quarter of my review.
I hold the rights to not review a book once it is in my possession.
I hold the rights to deny any ARC requests.
I hold the right to stop reading a book once I start reading it, if I find something troubling with or within the story.
