March 2019 Wrap Up

Hello friends! Todays post is my March Wrap Up.

Doesn’t it seem like it was yesterday when I did my February Wrap Up?

My To Be Read list for March didn’t include anything special — or anything at all. Last month I had a set TBR and I was so unhappy with it. I am a mood reader to the core, so when I set reading goals for myself… I end up stressing myself out to the point where I can’t, or won’t finish the TBR list I had set for myself.

For March though, my reading goals were to just have fun reading. Which, honestly, should be a monthly reading goal for the rest of my life.

Hello friends! Today’s post is a book review of We All Fall Down, by Natalie D. Richards.

Theo’s always been impulsive. But telling Paige how he feels? He’s obsessed over that decision. And it’s time. Tonight. At the party on the riverbank, under the old walking bridge, site of so many tales of love and death.

Paige has had a crush on Theo since they first met, but she knows her feelings are one-sided. She’s trying to move on, to flirt. A party at the river is just what she needs. Except a fight breaks out, and when Paige tries to intervene–Theo’s fist lands in her face.

All Theo and Paige want to do is forget that fateful night. But strange events keep drawing them back to the bridge. Someone, something is determined to make them remember…and pay for what they each did.

We All Fall Down is a book that I had been anticipating for months before I got to read it. I’ve really enjoyed Natalie D. Richards’ other books Six Months Later, and One Was Lost, so when I heard of We All Fall Down I tried to keep my expectations for this book to a minimum.

Hello friends! Today I’m talking a little about the books I’ve borrowed recently from the library.

Library Reads: I’m a huge fan of libraries. I tend to visit the library quite often, and I even come across great finds. These Library Reads posts are where I write a tad about the books I’ve borrowed.

In this post I’ll write about what books I borrowed, and what I think of the books before I actually start reading them. Whether what I say is a sentence or a few sentences long, here I catalogue the books I’ve borrowed. — From doing these posts I hope to spread a little love for libraries and the stories they can give us.

Thrillerathon 2019 & TBR !

Hello friends! Today’s post is going to be about the Thriller-a-thon that I found over on Twitter.

Honestly, I am awfully excited about Thrillerathon.

Thrillerathon was created by @ Harriet_Rosie_ on Twitter, and is taking place from February 18-24. That’s 7 days! I have more than a few books I plan on reading. However, I’m a mood reader to the core. I may not end up reading any or even all of the books I’ve planned. Yikes!

October 2017 Publishings

Hello everyone! I feel like it has been a while since I’ve done a post where I talk about the upcoming book releases that I’m particularly excited for..Even though I did write and post one last month, haha.

I don’t know about where you live, but where I live, the weather is finally cooling down. I’m also happy to report, that this summer I did not travel anywhere! Weehoo! I won’t take anymore time on this really bad intro. This months’ Publishings-that-I’m-Looking-Forward-to is kind of a long one, and I don’t want to make it any longer with the intro. So without a further ado, the books I’m looking forward to this October 2017!
