January 2019 Wrap Up, Book Haul & Thoughts

img_7631Hello friends! Welcome, welcome. Today’s post is my January 2019 (!!!!!!!!) Wrap Up and Book Haul.

It’s been long time since I last posted a monthly TBR on my Instagram… When I first posted my TBR for January, I wasn’t sure on whether or not I’d end up completing the TBR pile since I was pretty sick between the day after Christmas until through halfway of January.

Waiting for Spring, Vol. 01 by Anashin | Manga Review

Hello! Today I have a manga review. I had quite a bit of fun reading this manga. My review for Waiting for Spring Volume 01 is quite messy. Sorry in advance!

32847821A sweet romantic story of a soft-spoken high school freshman and her quest to make friends, Waiting for Spring will delight fans of earnest, fun, and dramatic shojo like Kimi ni Todoke and Say I Love You.

Mizuki is a shy girl who’s about to enter high school, and vows to open herself up to new friendships. Of course, the four stars of the boys’ basketball team weren’t exactly the friends she had in mind! Yet, when they drop by the café where she works, the five quickly hit it off. Soon she’s been accidentally thrust into the spotlight, targeted by jealous girls. And will she expand her mission to include… love?

I’d like to say that the cover for Waiting for Spring vol. 01 is so cute. Actually, all the covers for this manga series are pretty cute.

Not only is the cover cute but the first chapter is adorable. Continue reading

November & December Wrap Up + BOOK HAUL! | 2018

monthly-wrap-up-book-haul-1Hello friends! I’m back, finally. And it’s nearing the end of this year! Woah, this past year went by so quickly, so I’m certain that the next years will go by even faster.

The break I had taken from blogging was actually a great thing that I chose to do. Not only did I decide at the last minute to hand craft a bunch of gifts this year, but I did so with very little time left in the year. Now that the holidays have passed I can read again!!

Having not reading as much as I wanted to these last few months have been a huge bummer. I still read here and there, and there was even a week or two where I did nothing but read or watch anime and catch up on a few youtube videos, but I missed being able to read whenever I wanted to, and I missed being able to participate in the book community.. Like I said though, I did manage to read a bit!

With this post being a wrap up of the last two months of my life, not much has happened on Adele Is Reading, thus, the Wrap Up’s are going to be shorter than usual. Continue reading

October ’18 Wrap Up + BIRTHDAY Haul

IMG_6984Hello friends! October just passed recently, and I have been so freakin’ busy. So here’s my October Wrap Up!

I didn’t end up setting up a To Be Read list for October, just because I know that October is one of the busiest months I have yearly. However, since I accidentally ended up borrowing quite a few books from the library, I knew that I’d have to read those sometime. So why not make them my unofficially-official TBR and read a few of the books so I could feel like I actually read my TBR list this month.

Here’s what happened this month! Continue reading

Library Reads #41

libraryrreadsLibrary Reads: I’m a huge fan of libraries. I tend to visit the library quite often, and I even come across great finds. These Library Reads posts are where I write a tad about hte books I’ve borrowed.

In this post I’ll write about what books I borrowed, and what I think of the books before I actually start reading them. Whether what I say is a sentence or a few sentences long, here I catalogue the books I’ve borrowed. — From doing these posts I hope to spread a little love for libraries and the stories they can give us.

Hello friends! Today’s post is another LIBRARY READS! If you’ve read any of these books let me know what you thought of them.

Borrowed within September 2018! Continue reading
