Library Reads #38

libraryrreadsLibrary Reads: I’m a huge fan of libraries. I tend to visit the library quite a bit, so these posts are where I document the books I’ve borrowed from the library of my hometown, or one of a few of the library systems that I visit.

I’ll tell you a little bit about what I expect from the book, or the author’s writings. Whether what I say is a sentence long, or a few sentence’s. From doing these posts, I hope to spread a little bit of my love for libraries, while also informing you of books that you may or may not have known of!

These are the books I have borrowed between April 20th to June 20th.
Have you read any of these?

The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima

I’ve borrowed The Demon King before, but before I had the chance to read it, I had to give it back to the library. Now that I have it in my hands again, I’m determined to read it! I legitimately don’t know what to expect from this book. All I know about this series is that people love it, and that it was published a few years ago so it’s fallen more or less into the cracks that is the internet. (Returned, unread)

Tiger’s Quest (The Tiger Saga, #2) by Colleen Houck

It’s been quite a while since I’ve read Tiger’s Curse, so I kind of remember what happened in the last book. And the more I think of Tiger’s Curse, I start remembering more and more, so that’s nice.

I was actually going to borrow Tiger’s Quest from my local library, but when I went a few towns to their library, I saw Tiger’s Quest and I knew that I had borrow it. Especially because this second book has been in the back of my mind for like, a year. That said, I expect that Tiger’s Quest will be one action-filled adventure. I’m excited, but I’m not going to expect much. (returned, unread)

Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian

Ash Princess is a book taht I have heard many murmurings about, and I’ve seen a few people that I follow like this novel, so I’m going to give it a go and see what happens.

Tess of the Road by Rachel Hartman

Tess of the Road is a book taht I have been looking forward to for a long time. I haven’t read the Seraphina novels, nor am I interested to. So I’m particularly glad that I can read Tess of the Road as a standalone.

Manga:

He’s My Only Vampire Volumes 03-10, by Aya Shouto — I actually went to the library for another book, couldn’t find it. While I was searching for it though, I found the rest of the volumes, so I just borrowed all the ones I haven’t read, hahahaha.
