May Wrap Up | 2017

monthly-wrap-up-book-haul-1

How was everyone’s May? May is actually one of the busiest months for me. I mean, there’s mothers day, my brother’s wedding anniversary, my dad’s birthday, my parents wedding anniversary, and then my sisters birthday. All in that order, too.

I officially marked A Monster Calls (by Patrick Ness) as a Did Not Finish (DNF). I’ve just lost all interest in the book. Which is slightly upsetting, but I can’t help that I’ve lost interest.

unnamed-26The books I had on my TBR this month were: Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver; since I really want to read the book and eventually watch the movie with my mom. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard; I really need to finish re-reading this so I can put the book out of my mind! Cryer’s Cross by Lisa McMann; I’ve had the book for a while, and every time I look at my shelf my eyes go to Cryer’s Cross. Evermore by Alyson Noël; I’ve been wanting to re-read Evermore for a few years now, so why not!

I’m leaving May, and entering June reading Before I Fall, as well as Evermore. Let’s see what I read this May! Continue reading

29566060For the perfect love, what would you be willing to lose?

It’s been a shattering year for seventeen-year-old Zoe, who’s still reeling from her father’s shockingly sudden death in a caving accident and her neighbors’ mysterious disappearance from their own home. Then on a terrifying sub-zero, blizzardy night in Montana, she and her brother are brutally attacked in a cabin in the woods—only to be rescued by a mysterious bounty hunter they call X.

X is no ordinary bounty hunter. He is from a hell called the Lowlands, sent to claim the soul of Zoe’s evil attacker and others like him. X is forbidden from revealing himself to anyone other than his prey, but he casts aside the Lowlands’ rules for Zoe. As they learn more about their colliding worlds, they begin to question the past, their fate,  and their future.

The Edge of Everything, by Jeff Giles, is a Young Adult Fantasy/Paranormal Romance.

The Edge of Everything is an adventure that I didn’t think I would ever go on! Meaning, I don’t think that I’ve ever read a book quite like The Edge of Everything, before. Continue reading

Library Reads #26

libraryrreadsLibrary Reads: I’m a Library Lover, so these posts are where I document the books I’ve borrowed from libraries. I’ll tell you a little bit about what I expect from the book, or the author’s writings. Whether what I say is a sentence long, or a few sentence’s. From doing these posts, I hope to spread a little of my love for libraries, while also informing you of books that you may or may not have known of!

These are the books that I’ve borrowed in March. — Enjoy! Continue reading

Books that I’m Looking Forward to this Winter 2017 | Part 2

Hello all! So if you can’t tell by now, or if you’re just tuning in, I really like talking about books that haven’t been published yet. I usually post these posts a few days before the end of the month I’m talking about. For example, in this post I’ll be talking about the books that I’m looking forward to in January 2017, but I’ll be posting this a few days before January arrives.

So as you’ve already read, I’ll be talking about the books that will be officially published in January 2017. Compared to last months publishings, January has a ton more books to be ogled over. Continue reading
