First Line Fridays #5

First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines? If you want to make your own post, feel free to use or edit the banner above, and follow the rules below:

  1. Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page
  2. Copy the first few lines, but don’t give anything else about the book away just yet – you need to hook the reader first
  3. Finally… reveal the book!

If you’re using Twitter, don’t forget to use #FirstLinesFridays!

Hello lovelies! It’s been a while since I’ve made a TBR Tuesday post! Today’s post is a TBR Tuesday; if you haven’t already gotten that fact down. The two books that I’m talking about in this post are books that remind me of the other. Because of that, I’ve decided to talk about them in the same post. Both books, in my opinion have to do with adrenaline rushes. Continue reading
