Books I Wish to Read in 2018

BooksIWantToReadin2018

Hello friends! I hope everything is well with you? As I’m writing this the temperature outside has been steadily increasing. The weather for now is supposed to be at least 30 degrees Celsius for at least a week! I’ll be staying inside the whole time, thank you very much.

So I wrote a list of what books I wanted to get around to reading near the start of 2018. I actually don’t remember exactly when I wrote it… But I wrote this list down in my notebook so I wouldn’t forget, but I ended up forgetting anyway. And yes, I know we’re just over halfway through the year, but that’s still plenty of time to get around to reading the books that I want to read this year.

Apparently I wrote two lists: one for books I haven’t yet read, and the second books for books I want to re-read. Let me know if you’re interested in the second list!

For the first list, this is all for the books that I want to read this year, as well as series I want to continue on in. I’m going to keep this list short because I have less than half a year to read these books, but also because I know I won’t get around to reading all the books I want to. #NotEnoughTime Let’s get onto the list! May 2018 Wrap Up & Book Haul

Hello! Today’s post will be my monthly wrap up for May. As you can see by the title, haha. I also ended up buying quite a few books, so check those out as well!

IMG_5901Knowing that I probably wouldn’t stick to it, I actually came up with a TBR this month!

My TBR for May included: The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson, A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas, Under the Empyrean Sky by Chuck Wendig, The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima, Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson, and finally, A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab.

I ended up reading way more books that I thought I would’ve this month, since May is typically one of the busiest months of the year for me. Yet I ended up reading 08 books, and 10 manga. Not bad if I do say so myself! Continue reading

Maybe Someday + Maybe Not, by Colleen Hoover | Book Review #349 & #350

This review may contain spoilers.

IMG_5744At twenty-two years old, Sydney has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter’s cheating on her–and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Sydney becomes captivated by Ridge, her mysterious neighbor. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…

Original music created for Maybe Someday by musician Griffin Peterson can be accessed through the website listed in the ebook and paperback.

From the author of the New York Times bestsellers Slammed, Point of Retreat, Hopeless, This Girl, and Losing Hope, Maybe Someday is destined to be another bestseller and long-lasting fan favorite.

Whenever it comes to a Colleen Hoover novel, I don’t like to read the premise of the novel before I read it. I’ve actually come to finishing my review of books and then there’s a 50/50 chance I’ll read the synopsis. Continue reading

April 2018 Wrap Up & MINI Book Haul

IMG_5560I didn’t know what April would bring, reading wise. For the first week of April I only read one book, and that’s kind of out of character for me, since I typically bing-read for the first week of the month. I was reading though. Just not books, nor manga. I discovered Webtoons! I’ve been really enjoying it, and getting to know more art styles, stories and characters. I’ve had a blast so far, using that app.

Hello! Welcome to my monthly, end of the month Wrap-Up & -sometimes- Book Haul where I talk about my readings, posts, as well as talk a little about what has happened in my life in the spans of the month.

Books Read: 16 Continue reading

December 2017 Wrap Up & Book Haul

Hello, and Happy New Year! I hope your celebrations went well, and that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.

Onto the December 2018 Wrap-Up! — I didn’t have a TBR for this month, because I knew that with Chirstmas this last month, things and life in general would be incredibly hectic. Yet I managed to read 10 books! Considering it was the busy hustle-and-bustle of the Holidays and Celebrations were to be had, I did pretty well with my readings!

I bought a LOT of books in December. I only received one, which I’m not at all complaining about. I’ve read the book, and I honestly, genuinely enjoyed it. I know I’m going to re-read it this 2018 (hopefully).
