Lemonade Stand Tag

copy-of-summer-min

Hello friends! Welcome to today’s post. As you can see by the title of this post, I’m doing the Lemonade Stand tag! The Lemonade Stand tag is a super cute tag that’s actually quite fast to do. So it’s right up my alley–I’m so excited.

The Lemonade Stand Tag was originally created by Jeimy @ A Novel Idea, though I found this tag via Lindsay @ Singer of Stories post. Check out their answers!

The Lemonade Stand Tag is part of #BESummer19, so if you’re interested in checking out the posts, I suggest you do!

Enjoy!

Fall Time, Cozy Time | Book Tag

IMG_5940 copyAutumn/Fall; whichever you prefer, is my favourite season. I was born in Autumn, and Autumn will remain my favourite. The main reason why I like Autumn the most is because I feel like I can finally stretch my body comfortably. I love the feeling of the cold wrap around my body, I am home. I am home during the cooler months.

I found this tag via Lindsey @paradisbooks. I haven’t actually done a tag in a while, so this should be exciting! For me anyway, haha.

Books to Read on a Rainy Day

IMG_5572I don’t know about where you live, but where I live, the weather in Spring tends to either be wet and rainy, sunny and chilly, or be both at the same time. It could rain for 3 days straight, and then sunny for the next week and we won’t see a drop of rain. The weather here in Vancouver and Greater Vancouver Area, is very unpredictable. In fact, the only predictable thing about Vancouver is the unpredictable Spring weather.

I usually know when spring is here when there’s a huge and fast thunder storm that blows by. There will be hail, and extreme winds, followed by the rumble of thunder that rattles the house. Sometimes there will be lightning as well. The whole shebang. —-However, all of these books that I’ve listed are books that I could read over and over again.

Here are a few of the many books I’ve read that I could read over and over again, yet would be perfect for rainy, and/or stormy weather. Continue reading

The Decaying Empire by Laura Thalassa | ARC – Book Review #88

20897649

When eighteen-year-old teleporter Ember Pierce wakes up in a Los Angeles hospital, she remembers only the basics: she’s been trained by the government as a spy, she’s sent on dangerous missions, and her last assignment—the one that landed her in the hospital—was a setup.

Caden Hawthorne has spent the past ten months of his life grieving Ember’s death. So when she shows up in his room like an apparition, he can’t believe his eyes. But this Ember is different. Her hair is longer, her skin is paler, her gaze is haunted. She tells him what he’s already begun to suspect: someone he trusted betrayed her.

Now, uncertain who is friend and who is foe, Ember and Caden face the toughest mission of their lives—to stay together and survive, as they run from danger toward an unknown future.’

Okay, so I am a complete idiot. I totally forgot that I hadn’t yet reviewed The Decaying Empire! Truth be told, I thought I had reviewed this book a long time ago. Turns out I haven’t so I’m writing a review now.

PLEASE NOTE: The Decaying Empire is the second novel to The Vanishing Girl.
SECOND NOTE: I was given a copy of this book from the publisher; Amazon Publishing via netgalley, in exchenge for an honest review.
THIRD NOTE: The fact that I was given a copy will in no way depict how I feel about this book. Continue reading
