Hello readers!

Today is the day where I post my September 2019 Wrap-Up. Let’s see what I did in the blogging world this past September, hey?

September felt like it flew by. But then again, September and onward tends to move a little more quickly than anticipated. Also, my province won’t be participating in the time-fall-back-thing, and I am pissed.

How was your September?

Enjoy!

Ambushed, by Jada Fisher | Book Review

Hello friends! Today I have my book review of

Ambushed, by Jada Fisher.

Ambushed is the fourth book in The Brindle Dragon series.

Trigger Warnings: Kidnapping mention, Attempted Kidnapping.

44030945The forces of evil are growing stronger and the only thing standing in their way is an ill-prepared young lady, her group of similarly under-trained friends, and a small dragon with unique powers.
An epic dragon riding adventure from Jada Fisher, author of the popular Dragon Oracle series.

Eist has recovered from her last brush with death and Fior is finally learning to fly. Everything should be peachy now, right? Unfortunately, the forces of evil are growing stronger and there may be nothing standing in their way. Can Eist and her friends steer clear or will they be ambushed before they are ready?

Ambushed is the fourth book in the Brindle Dragon series which follows the story of a young girl and her most unusual dragon as they set out to defeat an evil they are just starting to understand.

It took me a little over a month to read Ambushed, because I found that binge-reading this series wasn’t the best idea (lolol, like I’m Just Figuring That Out). The basic thing in the story happens with every Brindle Dragon book that we read. And while it’s slightly funny that something happens to Eist every year she’s in the academy, it’s becoming kind of old. I’d like for something new to happen.

Nevertheless, I still enjoyed reading Ambushed.

I give Ambushed, 3 stars.

While Fior has proven to be intelligent, loyal, and cunning, he still lags behind his now much larger brethren. As Eist faces the possibility she may never be able to soar on her dragon, a worse possibility is thrust on her. Can she overcome the latest threat or will everything be taken from her?

With Taken being the third book in The Brindle Dragon, Taken is an incredibly fast read. I’m talking even faster than the last book, Awakened. It seems like there are two parts of this story, and for good reason. Continue reading

IMG_8624

Hello lovelies!

Today I have my August 2019 Wrap Up. I can’t believe how fast the month of August went by. I don’t know about you, but to me, August seems to be one of the faster months of the year. During August I had a lot going on personally, and blog-wise as well.

In August I had family from out of town visit. I also started a big Project that I hope to announce sometime soon (perhaps in the next few weeks) as well.

Blog wise, I had a lot going on too. An overload of book reviews, which might be dwindling down within the rest of the year (because of the Big Project). I also had time to post non-book-review-y things this month as well.

How was your August 2019?

Enjoy! Continue reading

The first book, Chosen, ended in an intriguing way so I dove into reading Awakened not too long afterwards. Actually, probably right after I finished reading Chosen.. Continue reading
