August 2017 Wrap Up

Hello everyone! Today’s post is that of my August 2017 wrap-up. How has your August been? — It’s incredibly hard for me to believe that August has already come and pass. That tomorrow is September.

It’s always hard for me to finish my monthly TBR lists. I usually have at least 6 or 7 books planned out that I want to read. With having only 2 or 3 books on my monthly TBR now, I’ve found that it is much more manageable for me to accomplish the list I’ve made.

My TBR of this month had 3 books on it. The TBR books were: Undead and Unwed (Undead, #1) by MaryJanice Davidson. Then there was Switched (Trylle Trilogy, #1) by Amanda Hocking, and finally, You’re Welcome, Universe by Whitney Gardner. I managed to read all of this months’ TBR! This is the first (or second, I can’t really remember) time I’ve managed to read what was on my monthly TBR!

July Wrap Up | 2017

Hello, everyone! Today’s post will be my Wrap-Up for July. July was an especially weird month for me, weather wise. I remember it rained for a little bit here and there. Usually in the summer months it doesn’t rain. At all. Let’s get down to it, shall we?

My TBR for July consisted of 4 books: The first book would be a re-read, and the rest being books I haven’t read before but, they’re part of their own series. The books making my TBR this month were (from left to right): The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (The Ubncemoning of Mara Dyer, #1) by Michelle Hodkin, The Infinite (Gates of Thread and Stone, #2) by Lori M. Lee, Frost Like Night (Snow Like Ashes, #3) by Sara Raasch, and finally, The Fate of the Tearling (The Queen of the Tearling, #3) by Erika Johansen.

June Book Haul & Wrap Up | 2017

June has come and gone. What happened to the time?! I can’t believe its July first tomorrow; which means that my country is celebrating its’ 150th birthday! Happy Early Birthday, Canada!

I had nine (9) books, turned eight (8) on my TBR this month. July’s Publishings that Interest Me | 2017

Hello everyone! The weather is getting hotter and hotter everyday. I am slowly melting away. Aside from that though, there are 16 books that interest me that are being published this July. Lets see what they are!

May Wrap Up | 2017

How was everyone’s May? May is actually one of the busiest months for me. I mean, there’s mothers day, my brother’s wedding anniversary, my dad’s birthday, my parents wedding anniversary, and then my sisters birthday. All in that order, too.

I officially marked A Monster Calls (by Patrick Ness) as a Did Not Finish (DNF). I’ve just lost all interest in the book. Which is slightly upsetting, but I can’t help that I’ve lost interest.

The books I had on my TBR this month were: Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver; since I really want to read the book and eventually watch the movie with my mom. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard; I really need to finish re-reading this so I can put the book out of my mind! Cryer’s Cross by Lisa McMann; I’ve had the book for a while, and every time I look at my shelf my eyes go to Cryer’s Cross. Evermore by Alyson Noël; I’ve been wanting to re-read Evermore for a few years now, so why not!

I’m leaving May, and entering June reading Before I Fall, as well as Evermore. Let’s see what I read this May!

The Dare by Hannah Jayne | Book Review #125

I found this to be a pretty unpredictable book. A few times I got a little angry because of the way that this story was written.

The Escape by Hannah Jayne | Book Review #92

I borrowed The Escape by Hannah Jayne from the library a while ago, and sped read this book because it was due it like, 2 days and I couldn’t renew it without actually turning in the book first. Surprisingly, though, even though I meant to speed read it, the story is fast-paced enough that reading this book made me feel like I wasn’t speed reading at all! Which was awesome.
