Before I get into my review, I wanted to let you know that I read Nightblood expecting that there would be a fourth book added to the series. As far as I know, there isn’t one in the works. 

October ’18 Wrap Up + BIRTHDAY Haul

Hello friends! October just passed recently, and I have been so freakin’ busy. So here’s my October Wrap Up! 

I didn’t end up setting up a To Be Read list for October, just because I know that October is one of the busiest months I have yearly. However, since I accidentally ended up borrowing quite a few books from the library, I knew that I’d have to read those sometime. So why not make them my unofficially-official TBR and read a few of the books so I could feel like I actually read my TBR list this month.

Library Reads: I’m a huge fan of libraries. I tend to visit the library quite often, and I even come across great finds. These Library Reads posts are where I write a tad about hte books I’ve borrowed.

In this post I’ll write about what books I borrowed, and what I think of the books before I actually start reading them. Whether what I say is a sentence or a few sentences long, here I catalogue the books I’ve borrowed. — From doing these posts I hope to spread a little love for libraries and the stories they can give us.

February 2018 | Wrap Up & Mini Book Haul

I didn’t have a set ‘To Be Read” pile/list for February, but I did want to try and read at least 10 ARC’s that I have. I’m so freakin’ happy to say that I’ve read 11 ARC’s! I DNF’d 3 of them, but I’m counting them as read, since I read enough to get a handle on the story.

There were two thoughts that I had prior to reading Fireblood. The first thought had me  groaning and thinking to myself, “There’s going to be a love-triangle, isn’t there… There better not be!” The second thought I had was “Oh, this is going to be good.” Since the back of Fireblood reveals Queens are involved. I couldn’t help but have a few high hopes..

Overall, my feelings towards Frostblood is that I definitely enjoyed my time reading Elly Blake’s story. Ruby is a character that has proved to have quite a bit of resilience in her.

December 2017 Wrap Up & Book Haul

Hello, and Happy New Year! I hope your celebrations went well, and that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.

Onto the December 2018 Wrap-Up! — I didn’t have a TBR for this month, because I knew that with Chirstmas this last month, things and life in general would be incredibly hectic. Yet I managed to read 10 books! Considering it was the busy hustle-and-bustle of the Holidays and Celebrations were to be had, I did pretty well with my readings!

I bought a LOT of books in December. I only received one, which I’m not at all complaining about. I’ve read the book, and I honestly, genuinely enjoyed it. I know I’m going to re-read it this 2018 (hopefully).
