Library Reads #35

Library Reads: I’m a huge fan of Libraries. I tend to visit the library quite a bit, so these posts are where I document the books I’ve borrowed from the library of my hometown, or one of a few libraries that I go to.
I’ll tell you a little bit about what I expect from the book, or the author’s writings. Whether what I say is a sentence long, or a few sentence’s. From doing these posts, I hope to spread a little bit of my love for libraries, while also informing you of books that you may or may not have known of!

4 Trilogies I’ve Yet to Finish

Have you ever read a book, and then realized it was part of a series? Have you ever read a book that was part of a series; finished the book you were reading and then totally forgot about the book you read? I’ve been in both of these situations and while sometimes the series are entertaining, other times the rest of the book series just doesn’t live up to the first book.

Here are 4 book series that I have yet to finish.

Favourite Character Names | Top 5 Wednesday #19

This week’s Top 5 Wednesday post is about the Top 5 Favourite Character Names.

Names hold a lot of meaning, especially in stories. Authors can name a character, and when you look up that character’s name, a lot of pieces will fall into place. Now for me, I personally really don’t care about character names. I mean, it’s a name. However, that doesn’t stop me from having favourite character names.

Hello all! I hope today has treated you well. Today’s Top 5 Wednesday Post, as you can see by the title, is about 5 Books that I never finished. I usually finish reading all the books I read. There are times though when something just bothers me about the book, so I decide to not finish it.

As you can see, the topic for this week is Biggest Baddasses. I’m not going to number these because I think of these characters as equals. Mostly though, I’m not numbering these because I don’t think I can put a number on these characters. 

2016 Rereading Challenge

After a lot of thought in the past few months, I’ve come to realize my need to reread books I’ve already read and own. I didn’t know how many books I wanted to read. Should I reread 2 books a month? One book a month?

Whilst scrolling and thinking about my little dilemma, I came a cross Mary’s (@books-and-cookies​, on tumblr) 2016 Re-reading challenge where you would read at least 1 book a month that you’ve already read; hence the “Re-read” part. And that’s actually a perfect amount for me. The books below aren’t in any order that I’m going to read them. I just organized the books by size, biggest being on the bottom.

I didn’t think I would like this book as much as I did. I’m pretty sure that I got this book on a whim, and that I was hooked on this book by the first…chapter?? I can’t remember. All I know is that I loved this book the first time around, and that I’m really looking forward to reading this book again. This book is also part of a trilogy!! –Trigger warning! There’s an attempted Rape Scene in the beginnings of the book.
