Hello friends! Welcome, welcome. Today’s post is my January 2019 (!!!!!!!!) Wrap Up and Book Haul.
It’s been long time since I last posted a monthly TBR on my Instagram… When I first posted my TBR for January, I wasn’t sure on whether or not I’d end up completing the TBR pile since I was pretty sick between the day after Christmas until through halfway of January.
Hello friends! Today’s post is my book review of Tempt by Claire Farrell.
Tempt is the third book in the Ava Delaney series, which is a Fantasy / Paranormal Romance / Urban Fantasy.

Throughout this series there’s quite a bit that happens, but I’m glad that Farrell has written the story in a way where when one book ends, the following novel will pick up just about where the previous novel closed. And there was no exception with Tempt!
What I enjoyed about Tempt:
Farrell’s writing sucks me into her books so quickly. I honestly love Farrell’s writing so much. She has to be one of my favourite authors of all time.
I give Tempt, 3 stars.

Hello friends! It’s that time of the month again where I do my monthly wrap up! Let’s se what happened this month, reading wise, and just my general monthly update.
With only having one book on my TBR this month, I kept my August TBR super short.. The book on my TBR for this August was Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3) by Sarah J. Maas. I’m trying to read at least one Throne of Glass book a month until Kingdom of Ash is published, in October. And I’m fallin’ behind!

Taunt is the second book in the Ava Delaney series by Claire Farrell.
Ava needs to forget all about the vampires, but they won’t leave her alone. Between her failing business, angry landlord, disloyal friends, and vampire stalkers, life is starting to feel pretty stressful. When Ava finally deals with her biggest problem, she gets caught up in the chain of events it triggers and is dragged along a path she can’t escape from.
Ava has to figure out exactly what her biggest threat is: the humans, the vampires, the Council—or her true heritage.
I have read Taunt many times before, so my original thoughts are mostly forgotten, but I still remember some of my first impressions.
What I thought of Taunt when I first read it, was that it was great. The story moves fast, and the characters are all pretty much likeable. Continue reading

Ava Delaney calls herself a hybrid – a living, breathing human who happens to have vampire poison running through her veins. The only thing greater than her thirst for human blood is her capacity for guilt. She does her best to avoid the human world, for everyone’s sake.
When Ava accidentally enslaves a human while saving him from a vampire, she realises she has to look for help setting him free. Despite her misgivings, she expands her world but finds herself dragged into a possible vampire civil war. With the help of some new friends with ambiguous loyalties, she tries to find a way to keep her human, and herself, alive.
I really love the Ava Delaney series. The setting is in Ireland, which is awesome! In this first book, Thirst, we get used to the characters. While Thirst is an introductory to the main characters involved in this story, we also get to know about Ava’s surrounding world and how she lives her daily life, as well as getting a sense of the plot and where the story will take us.
