Guilty Reader Book Tag

guilty reader book tag

Hello! Today I have the Guilty Reader Book Tag. I cannot remember where I first saw it, but I do know that I was tagged a few weeks ago by Alys @ Alys In Bookland. Check out their post to see what they’ve got to say!

I don’t think I really feel guilty about books, unless we’re talking about the books I’ve been gifted previously. I’m trying to stop that habit of mine–asking for books as presents. UNLESS they’re books I’ve read and loved.

I hope you enjoy!

Hello friends! Welcome to today’s post. As you can see by the title of this post, I’m doing the Lemonade Stand tag! The Lemonade Stand tag is a super cute tag that’s actually quite fast to do. So it’s right up my alley–I’m so excited.

The Lemonade Stand Tag was originally created by Jeimy @ A Novel Idea, though I found this tag via Lindsay @ Singer of Stories post. Check out their answers!

The Lemonade Stand Tag is part of #BESummer19, so if you’re interested in checking out the posts, I suggest you do!

Enjoy!

My Blog’s Name in Books | TAG (V.02)

my name in booksHello everyone! I know I’ve done this tag before, but I enjoyed it so much that I want to do it again.

When I first completed this tag, I used titles that I haven’t read before. This time I’m doing so again, but next time I just might change it up a bit.

If you’re interested in reading the first version I completed, then click here.

flower dividerHere are the original rules,

Rules:
• Spell out your blog’s name.
• Find a book from your TBR that begins with each letter.
NOTE: You cannot ADD to your TBR to complete this challenge – the books must already be on your Goodreads TBR. Don’t cheat my friends!!!!!

This time around I changed the rules a little bit. I did use my GoodReads TBR, but only with a handful of titles. The rest I don’t think I have on my TBR. I have these on my kindle app just waiting to be read. Which in my opinion, is just another TBR list. However a more personal one.

Here goes. Enjoy! Continue reading

My Blog’s Name in Books | Tag

Hello everyone! Recently I came across Tesiselity’s post where she her version of the tag, so check out her post too! I thought it would be fun and interesting to do this tag as well!

The challenge for me is that my blog’s name is sort of long, with repeating letters.. So while I typed this I had no idea of any titles that I wanted to use. I had no idea what I was going to put down..my name in booksRules:
• Spell out your blog’s name.
• Find a book from your TBR that begins with each letter.
NOTE: You cannot ADD to your TBR to complete this challenge – the books must already be on your Goodreads TBR. Don’t cheat my friends!!!!!

The Rainbow Book Tag

Hello mi amigos! Today’s post is going to be the Rainbow Book Tag. I came across this book tag from Kelly | Another Book in the Wall. I haven’t done a book tag in a long time, so I’m actually pretty excited to do tag. Let’s get down to things!

The Rules:

  • Thank the lovely person that tagged you!
  • It must be the dominant color of the cover, not the spine!
  • It has to be a book you own or the exact copy that you read. (Ex: There are two copies of The Hate U Give, choose the cover of the copy you read)
  • If you do not own a book of the certain cover, choose one that has the color somewhere on it.
  • Tag some people do it! Whether they are bloggers, bookstagrammers, or booktubers. Spread the love!
  • Make it a game or do the tag as originally intended.

If you want to know more about the book, all you have to do is click the books’ cover. You’ll then be taken to the books’ GoodReads page. — Enjoy!

Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge

‘One of Lux’s hands had found mine, and even though he was mouthing No, his grip gave me the strength to meet the lady’s eyes and whisper, “Even so, I will keep my vow. Where he dies, I will die. And there will I be buried.”
And with a burst of song, the sparrow landed on my wrist.
A handful of kindness, it said to the Kindly Ones. The answer to your riddle.

Fall Time, Cozy Time | Book Tag

IMG_5940 copyAutumn/Fall; whichever you prefer, is my favourite season. I was born in Autumn, and Autumn will remain my favourite. The main reason why I like Autumn the most is because I feel like I can finally stretch my body comfortably. I love the feeling of the cold wrap around my body, I am home. I am home during the cooler months.

I found this tag via Lindsey @paradisbooks. I haven’t actually done a tag in a while, so this should be exciting! For me anyway, haha.

The Pastry Book Tag

I just want to do a quick thank-you to whoever created this Pastry Book Tag. I don’t know who you are, but Kudos to you!

Hello all! Today is a Book Tag. I feel like I haven’t done one of these in a while, even though I did one just last month. Pastries are always a come and go for me, since I can’t really have sweets anymore [if you’re wondering why I can’t have sweets, it’s because the sweets sometimes leave a burning sensation in the back of my throat]. Aside from that, there are quite a few pastries that are very cool looking. Lets get on with the tag, shall we?

Croissant: Name a popular book or series that everyone (including you) loves. Continue reading

Coffee Book Tag

I found this tag on youtube via jessethereader, and even though I don’t like drinking coffee, I thought that these questions would be interesting to do!

  • Name a series that’s tough to get into but has hardcore fans.

For this one, I’m going to say the Mortal Instrument series! While I have read the series, and enjoyed the books the first time round, I found that trying to get into the series again is tougher than I thought it would be. When I tried re-reading City of Bones, I couldn’t even get that far into the book because Jace just pissed me off so freaking much! Agh!

  • Pepperminet Mocha: Name a book that get’s more popular during the seasons.

For this one I’m going to say the same book that Jesse said for this book. My True Love Game to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories by Stephanie Perkins and all of the other 12 authors that have stories in this book.

  • Hot Chocolate: What’s your favourite children’s book?

Its been so long since I’ve read read my favourite children’s book. Honestly! I enjoyed quite a few books when I was younger! I think my favourite though, would have to be Greek Myths (Usborne Miniature Editions) by Heather Amery.

  • Double Shot of Expresso: Name a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

The Wrath & the Dawn certainly had me at the edge of my seat from start to finish. The first time I read this book, I literally could not stop reading. The story, the characters, the setting, everything about this book just drew me into the book.

  • Starbucks: Name a book that you see everywhere.

Lately I’ve been seeing both A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas, and I’ve been seeing The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater everywhere! And I’m honestly 100% okay with that. I love ACOMAF, and even though I haven’t read the last two books in the Raven Cycle series, I love the books!

  • That Hipster Coffee Shop: Give a book by an indie author a shout out.

I read this book a few years ago. I was probably, 16, maybe 17 when I read Darkhouse?  Darkhouse by Karina Halle is one of my favourite books. The book itself is a great read. There’s the angsty feel accompanying the story, with characters that are in that New Adult/Adult age, so there’s no main teenager POV! Which was really nice to be honest.

Anyway, Darkhouse is a Mystery, Paranormal Thriller, and when I first read the book, the events following Perry and Dex, scared the shit out of me so badly that I had to sleep with a light on for a week. — This is me telling you to read Darkhouse ASAP!!!

  • Oops, I Accidentally Got Decaf: Name a book that you were expecting a little bit more from. The Archived by Victoria Scwab

The Archived by Victoria Schwab is the book I have for this answer. A lot of people pumped up this book, and when I got around to reading the book, I was majorly let down. The characters, and the happenings of The Archived just…completely fell from my expectations.

  • The Perfect Blend: Name a book or series that was both bitter and sweet, but was ultimately satisfying.

A book series that was both bitter and sweet, but was ultimately satisfying to me is the Fallen series by Lauren Kate. There are moments where I was bothered and bitter, and there were sweet moments that I absolutely loved. The Fallen series was ultimately very satisfying to me! I really enjoyed reading Fallen, and I hope to have some time to reread this series again soon!

That’s all for this Coffee Book Tag! If you want to do this tag, then I tag you!! I’d love to know what you’re answers would be for all of these questions!

Thank you so much for reading!
