Library Reads #44

library readsHELLO FRIENDS! TODAY I’M TALKING A LITTLE ABOUT THE BOOKS I’VE BORROWED RECENTLY FROM THE LIBRARY.

Library Reads: I’m a huge fan of libraries. I tend to visit the library quite often, and I even come across great finds. These Library Reads posts are where I write a tad about the books I’ve borrowed.

In this post I’ll write about what books I borrowed, and what I think of the books before I actually start reading them. Whether what I say is a sentence or a few sentences long, here I catalogue the books I’ve borrowed. — From doing these posts I hope to spread a little love for libraries and the stories they can give us.

Have you borrowed any books lately?

HERE ARE THE BOOKS I BORROWED FROM THE LIBRARY IN APRIL!

Books I Should Have Read Already | Part 1/?

Hello, friends! How are you doing today? Right now it’s a particularly hot day so I am inside staying cool.

Today’s post is about the books I should have already read. Some of these books are a few years old, and some are somewhat new. Either way, I have them in my possession (and have for a while) so I should have already read them.

April ’18 OwlCrate Unboxing | SHADOWS & SECRETS

IMG_5878Hello, friends! I’m pretty sure this is the last OwlCrate box I’ll be getting for a while, so I’m both bummed and a little refreshed. Bummed because I won’t be getting cool bookish knick-knacks every month. I’m a little refreshed because now I won’t have to worry so much about finding space on my shelf! Haha.

Anywho, the April 2018 OwlCrate box is called Shadows & Secrets and there’s some pretty interesting stuff in here! Let’s take a look!

April 2018 Wrap Up & MINI Book Haul

IMG_5560I didn’t know what April would bring, reading wise. For the first week of April I only read one book, and that’s kind of out of character for me, since I typically bing-read for the first week of the month. I was reading though. Just not books, nor manga. I discovered Webtoons! I’ve been really enjoying it, and getting to know more art styles, stories and characters. I’ve had a blast so far, using that app.

Hello! Welcome to my monthly, end of the month Wrap-Up & -sometimes- Book Haul where I talk about my readings, posts, as well as talk a little about what has happened in my life in the spans of the month.

September 2017 Wrap Up

unnamed

My TBR this September contained 5 books. I usually have a max of 3 books a month, since that seems to be the amount of books that I can handle. However, I got stressed and amped the books up from the usual 3 books to 5 books. Especially with reading library books, and just being busy with life in general.

The books that I had on my TBR this month (from left to right) were: I See You by Clare Mackintosh, Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody, The Beast is an Animal by Peternelle van Arsdale, Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke, Spider’s Bite by Jennifer Estep.

Of the 5 books I had on my TBR this month, I only managed to read 2 of them; The Daughter of the Burning City, and, Spider’s Bite. However, I did start reading I See You — but I See You is so incredibly detailed (and I’m only 10 pages in) that the book is slower than I thought it would be.

The Books I read this September (15):

Library Reads #30

libraryrreadsLibrary Reads: I’m a Library Lover, so these posts are where I document the books I’ve borrowed from either one library, of a few libraries. I’ll tell you a little bit about what I expect from the book, or the author’s writings. Whether what I say is a sentence long, or a few sentence’s. From doing these posts, I hope to spread a little of my love for libraries, while also informing you of books that you may or may not have known of!

These are the books that I’ve borrowed from the last 2 weeks of July, up until the end of August. Enjoy!
