Hello all! Today’s post is about Books I’m Intimidated By. Normally I’m not as intimidated as I am about some books, but recently I’ve been feeling a lot of fear, or anxiousness, or even a little anxiety at some books.

The first book is one that I shouldn’t be intimidated by but I am, even though I’ve already read it… Continue reading

This weeks Top 5 Wednesday is focusing more on the “hard” books. Meaning: books that deal with (but not secluded to) mental health, sexual assault, illness, etc. I feel so bad for leaving the et cetera in there. But it’s there.  Let’s get to it, shall we? Continue reading

Rainy Day Reads | Top 5 Wednesday #10

This weeks topic for Top 5 Wednesday is about Rainy Day Reads! I’m taking this as books that would be perfect to read on a rainy day. I have no idea about you, but when I read during the day, the atmosphere around me has to match the feel I’m getting from the book I might potentially read. I like to immerse myself in the books I read. Maybe that’s why I often find myself reading at night or in the early mornings when no one would bother me..

So when it’s raining, I like to read a book that will have a warm atmosphere around it. The same goes for generally cold days, or in the winter. Books that would take place in Summer would be perfect! If you want to read a darker book though, say, something creepy, a rainy day would be another great time to read whatever came to your mind! Here are the books that I would recommend: Continue reading

t5wpic

When it comes to fictional items, there is almost anything under the sun. And with what fictional items I know of I know of the bad and good that follow the items. Most of the time, the bad always outweighs the good so I end up not wanting at all. Why would you want an item that’s just going to bite you in the ass later?

With that in mind, I thought long and hard about any fictional items I would want. I’ve thought about the consequences about said items, and I’ve only come up with three fictional items that I would love to have.  Continue reading

Hello bookworms! I hope this week has treated you well so far. Today’s post is about Worst Love Interests (male or female). I know that a lot of people will have different opinions about love interests for their beloved characters. That’s totally okay! It’s really good that we all have these differing opinions, as long as we all respect these opinions we have.

So to avoid me spoiling anything for you, please avoid reading this post if you haven’t read the books I’m going to be talking about. The said books are: Confess by Colleen Hoover, The Darkest Minds trilogy by Alexandra Bracken, The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black, If I Stay by Gayle Forman, and The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare.

If you’ve read these books, then continue on ahead! I just don’t want to spoil anything for you.  Continue reading
