Hello all! Usually I just keep my Book Hauls and Wrap Up’s in the same post at the end of the month, but for I think the first time, I’m going to have two separate posts. This post will be about the books that I’ve bought and received this month, excluding any library books I may have borrowed. Continue reading
So this post is a little different due to the fact that I didn’t buy just any type of books.. I bought books that were withdrawn from my library. I managed to get 14 books for $3.50 CAD. …That’s insane!!! I just calculated how much all of these books would cost if I bought them in their normal prices, and all of these books, before taxes, would be $274.34 CAD. I mean, what a freaking steal!!
Lets get on with what books I got, I don’t want to keep you waiting forever, haha. Continue reading
Hello bookworms! I hope today has treats you well. Maybe with these free e-books, you’ll have a brighter day! All of these books are listed on Amazon, so if you’re an Amazon user then great! I’m unfortunately not a Amazon user, I’ve only bought something once from Amazon, and now only use their Kindle app for any netgalley’s I might receive!
There are 39 permanent free e-books on their list, and I’ll list the ones that I did not download below the ones that I did download. If any of these books appeal to you, feel free to download them!
I’m downloading these books from Kobo since I’m already familiar with their site, and I have a Kobo Aura, so it’s just easier for me to download the books from their site onto my kobo device.
Before downloading any of the books, I looked through the list of books that are offered. And upon looking at the titles and authors on the list I realized that I recognized a few! There are quite a few books and authors names that I didn’t recognize though.
The first book that I downloaded was… Continue reading
Where did the time go this January? I swear time both froze and sped up. I don’t know what to say actually!! A lot has happened this month. Shadow Hunters aired on TV. Since I’m in Canada though, I have to watch it on Netflix. – I’m also thinking of re-reading the TMI / TID series?? I have no idea if I should. – Hmm. What else has happened…. My cousins birthday was on the 29th. I gained a follower here on WordPress, haha. Slowly but surely, my following is growing!!
In the month of January, I posted a some reviews, posted 2 Friday Finds, read 9 books, and was allowed access to an ARC! And of course, bought 5 books… Continue reading
Wow! This post is super late. I finally got all the books though, that I got for Christmas. I waited a while because I didn’t know what to do with some money that I got. I thought to myself, should I get a hair cut? Should I pay a bill? Should I just buy books? ‘Cause its Christmas money, you know? When I’m given money either on my birthday, or for Christmas I think to myself (I won’t break out into song, I swear!), should I be responsible with this money, or should I treat myself? I always end up treating myself. I figure that they wouldn’t give me this money in the first place if they wanted to pay my bills, so, TREATING MYSELF IT IS! In the picture below are the physical copies of books I received on Christmas, with the e-books I got on my Kobo; which aren’t pictured, below! So here are the books I got this Christmas:
Hello, all! I was out and about Christmas shopping (better sooner than later!!) with my mum and we stopped in at Chapters. Which was probably a bad thing for my wallet, whoops! Haha. But I still had some birthday money, so I decided to get some Young Adult books that were on sale*. I had a little moment of not knowing which books to get because there are so many books on sale there.. It’s like Chapters didn’t know what to do with all these extra books. I thought I’d buy a few, and if I didn’t like them, no harm done.
* All books bought were around $6 each.
