Hello friend! Welcome back to Adele Is Reading.
Today I’ve got my book review of
Finding My Pack, by Lane Whitt.
Finding My Pack is the first book in the My Pack series.
Abandoned as a baby and forced to grow up way too fast, Kitten has learned to live and survive by her own unique code. When Kitten is at her lowest point and thinks she can’t carry on, she meets an extraordinary group of men who welcome her into their home and their hearts, showing her more kindness than she has ever known. What will happen when she finds out the secrets they keep? They may be more connected than they all thought when secrets about Kitten begin to surface as well.
This is a reverse-harem book. (One girl, multiple guys)
From GoodReads [x]:
“REVERSE HAREM” IS, LITERALLY, THE OPPOSITE OF “HAREM”, WITH A GROUP OF MALES CENTERING ROUND A SINGULAR FEMALE, USUALLY WITH THREE OR MORE MALES. QUITE OFTEN FOUND UNDER THE ROMANCE GENRE.
Honestly, very good read. Definitely about 4 stars, or more. Read this in one sitting, and my legs were screaming at me for it.
There weren’t any sex scenes within the book, which in itself was shocking to see, … read?.
I like how for most part of the book, there was only one point of view. All 8, yes, 8, mens POVs were introduced the story got to be more interesting.
What’s really shocking though, was finding out that this story both takes place, and was published in the year 2015!
Something else that I enjoyed about Finding My Pack, was how the pack was/is incredibly protective of Kitten.
I’m looking forward to seeing how many heads will roll in the second book. I am so excited for it.
I ended up giving Finding My Pack, 4 stars.
Have you read Finding My Pack, or anything else written by Lane Whitt?
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy Reading!
