IG: Autumn Book Tag

autumn book tag

Hello loves! Last week marked the First Day of Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere on the Pacific Coast. In mini celebration of today being the First Day of Autumn, I thought I’d do the Autumn Book tag!

I originally found this tag over on Instagram, and thought I’d bring the Autumn Book Tag  to my blog. I thought this tag to be cute, and quite fast to finish. AKA:, the best of both worlds for me! Haha.

Let’s start!

A book with a brown cover:

An Enchantment of Ravens, is kinda brown, right? I’m using it anyway, haha.

A book that takes place in the forest:

The Darkest Part of the Forest by Laini Taylor is the first book that comes to mind actually. Which is weird because I haven’t read it in a few years, and … yeah. I should try to re-read it sometime soon.😍

A book that you would like to read over a cup of smoking tea:

Written In Red, by Anne Bishop; the first book to The Others series. Which is one of my favourite (problematic) book and series. I’m so excited for the series re-read that’s going to be happening online in October!

A book whose cover makes you think of Autumn:

An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson, Beautiful Decay by Sylvia Lewis…

The fall book release that you’re most exited for:

Oh gosh, I know that there are a few that I’m keeping my eye out for. However! Cupid’s Match by Lauren Palphreyman is a book that I’ve been looking forwards to getting my hands on for a couple of months now… I’m actively trying to smother my excitement for Cupid’s Match–I don’t want to hype myself up for this novel and then have it all crumble and fall to the ground. (Out OCTOBER 01/19!)

I’m also super excite for I’m a Gay Wizard, by V.S. Santoni! I’ve known about I’m a Gay Wizard for about a month, and let me tell you that I am just.. Over the Moon excited to read IaGW. I’ve forgotten what exactly it’s about, but I remember being super stoked about it. (Out OCTOBER 29/19!)

A classic that you want to read in Autumn:

Some call this story a classic, some don’t. I, however, am actually quite torn over this series. I haven’t read beyond the second book in said series, buuuut, I really want to try and reading The Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling Illustrated edition.

Aaand that’s it for this particular tag! If you’re at all interested in doing this tag, then you’re tagged! I’m eagerly anticipating what your answers will be.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

See you soon, and Happy Reading!
