Trigger Warnings: Sex Scenes.

45714295._SY475_After a bet with his brother, Liam O’Connor has to date the next woman who walks into the pub. And he’s all in, because his pub is on the line. What he didn’t expect was Casey Meadows, who at first glance with her big glasses and bulky sweater looks like a woman who has many, many cats—but her wit and smile make him wonder what’s underneath her bulky armor.

Casey Meadows aka sweet romance author Cassie O’Brien is about to lose everything. As in, her writing career is going down the drain because she can’t write the sexy stuff that’s selling these days. She needs inspiration in the worst way. That’s when she walks into the wrong pub at the right time. Sexy owner Liam is just what the writing doctor ordered. Her whole body is feeling inspired—and when he makes a proposal she can’t refuse—she’s all in. Oh, hell yes. Best. Sex. Of. Her. Life. Thanks to Liam, she’s about to write a best-seller.

But having an erotic romance alter ego is nothing compared to the real secret Cassie is hiding—and that one could destroy everything.

I truly didn’t know what to expect when I read Bet Me to Stay. Going into BMtS though, I knew that there was a chance that I wouldn’t like this book; but I had hoped that I would end up liking it.

I want to say that Bet Me to Stay, for the most part, was told in third person. I got so into the book that I was immersed in it and the the story read as if the story was told via the characters themselves. Actually, since the story was so immersive to me, reading Cassie and Liam’s parts of the story was huge fun.

What I liked most about Bet Me to Stay was that the characters leapt off the pages. Everyone in this novel is so realistic  So I greatly appreciate how the characters interract with one another, it all seems so natural

Now, if you’re not someone who enjoys reading sex scenes, I would suggest that you don’t read Bet Me to Stay. There’s quite a few sexy steamy hoooottttt sex scenes. —- The romance was so sweet. Nearing the end of Bet Me To Stay I was almost moved to tears.

I adore Cassie and Liam together. They’re so cute and adorable. Cassie and Liam’s relationship felt like a true relationship. Both parties weren’t out to get the other person in a malicious way. And I liked that much like real-life relationships they had their ups and downs. In my opinion, Cassie and Liam have a true love story honestly. I can only hope that one day I’ll have a love like theirs—one worth fighting for.

I give Bet Me To Stay, 4 stars.
