Hello friends! Today I have my book review of Wolf Hunted, by Sadie Moss.

Wolf Hunted is the first book in the The Last Shifter series.

I didn’t know what quite to expect when I started reading Wolf Hunted. All that I really knew about this story was that 1. it was a shifter novel, and 2., Wolf Hunted + series was a Reverse Harem story. Which might be my new favourite thing.

Within Wolf Hunted, there is one point of view: Alexis. I quite like her character and I am excited to see what she brings to the story.

Though to be honest, I’m kind of over the I’ve been in a hospital/asylum for X-amount of time, and your my first love! trope.

The first seven chapters of Wolf Hunted are wild—there’s so much that happens. We start reading Alexis’ story and we’re off on a chase. I’m not kidding when I say that the plot of this story is incredibly fast. I’m talking whirlwind fast. And with the amount of plot that we’re given, Wolf Hunted was like a speed-read for me.

We learn that Alexis had been lied to for her whole life, that the ones she considered a second family to her, were all lying to her. So Alexis’ life was evidently ripped away from her when she found out the truth. —- Everything that Alexis knew was a lie. Honestly, I want to say that this was a huge surprise, but it isn’t. Whenever I read captivity stories this is always how things are.

Once I hit the 8th chapter mark, from then on it felt like a race to get to where Alexis and her guys were by the end of Wolf Hunted.

And how Wolf Hunted ended had me downloading the second book right after I finished this review.

I give Wolf Hunted, 3 stars.
