April 2019 Wrap Up + Book Haul

Hello friends! Welcome to my April Wrap-Up & Book Haul!IMG_8624

This April I did not have a set TBR and for that, I am so grateful. In fact, because I didn’t set a TBR this month I’ve read more in April than I have these past few months combined! At least it feels that way. I’d forgotten how happy I am when I manage to read a ton.

Throughout April I actually bought quite a few books. And read a few of them in April?! Which is…not something that usually happens to me, haha. I’m very relieved and happy that I somehow managed to do that. I usually buy books and then forget about them. Especially e-books. Do you forget about the e-books you’ve bought too? It’s like my number one fault regarding book buying.

I also managed to post a few things that were not book reviews! Yay time management, looooool.

Enjoy!

I read so many books this month! Ah! I don’t even know how that happened to be quite honest. I read 23 freaking books. What the heck. Since I read so many books I’ve managed to have reviews of said books scheduled up until September. Which makes me happy since I have at least 1 book review a week until then. And that’s a good thing, just in case I fall back into a blogging slump.

I ended up buying way more than I should have, but I did enjoy (mostly) what I did end up reading. Hopefully next month I’ll work on the books that I didn’t end up reading.. Yay dragons!

In the Blogosphere:

This April was a bad month for me in terms of connecting with people over the internet. Admittedly, I have trouble balancing both reading what I want, and reading other people’s posts. I’m going to try next month to find a balance between the two.

April Journal:

05; I got my first pair of glasses today and I’m so happy with them. Goodbye, Astigmatism!

06; I’m glad to have gotten to read 5 or 6 books already and it’s only April 6th. I hope I can keep it up for the rest of the month!

23; I know I’ve been reading a shit tonne of G. Bailey this month, but I’ve been pretty obsessed interested with her work.

29; I’ve been reading so much manga these past few days. I could have read books, but every once in a while I go manga crazy…

Did April treat you well? Have you read any of the books that I mentioned in this post? Have you read anything this month, and did you enjoy it?

Wow April was an amazing month for you! Also way to go on getting your reviews scheduled! I’m the worst at writing reviews.
I always forget about the ebooks I get mainly because they were freebies. I’m really excited about the new kindle update on showing the books we’ve finished makes me a little less stressed about the insane number of books on my kindle.

Thank you! I’m realizing the more that I read, the less time I have to review things, so I’m behind on some book reviews of books I’ve read so far this month… Ahaha. It’s difficult finding a balance!

Oh gosh, I love the new update! I opened the app last night and started scrolling and saw that the books I read were marked as “read” and was so happy. Agh, I even forget about the books that I’ve bought! 😆😅

I hope you have a great May! 😁
