I am a Dragon Prince of the House of Smoke… and I am dying.

Five hundred years is truly enough for a man like me. A monster. Yet a ten-thousand-year treaty will die with me, if I don’t spawn a dragonling to take my place. My two brothers are no use in this task. It falls to me, the eldest by a hair’s breadth, and yet, I cannot face the horror of another sealing. Another death. Another woman’s blood on my hands.

ARABELLA
I was saved from death in a dark Seattle alley by an impossibly beautiful man who swooped in on golden wings. Now he’s taken me to his lair, opened my eyes to a world of immortals I didn’t know existed, and given me an impossible task—find him a mate. Then, and only then, will he set me free.

He needs her more than he wants; she wants him more than she should; and the fate of both the mortal and immortal worlds depends on not just repairing their hearts, but finding a Love that’s True…

What surprised me the most about Kiss of a Dragon was that this book was a quick read.

I should warn any potential reader that there are lots sex scenes. I myself don’t mind sex scenes — I just felt like that there were perhaps, just a tad too many. When there were sex scenes, the scenes themselves kinda seems unrealistic in my opinion. But then again, Bella is having sex with a Dragon, so, there’s that.

Apart from all the sex, Kiss of a Dragon had a good story plot. I liked where the story was going before the book ended—-mid scene.

The relationship that Lucian and Bella have is a complicated one, to say the least. And I do like Lucian and Arabella together. I just feel that Lucian is trying to recreate something that he had in the past.

I’m hesitant to continue on with Lucian and Bella’s story. I don’t want the second book to end in the middle of a scene. So it may take a while, but I am interested in reading the second book, Heart of a Dragon, when I can.

Though I’m iffy about wanting to continue the rest of this series, I found the history of dragons (within the Fallen Immortals) to be very interesting. Especially Lucian’s family history.

Overall I found the parts about the dragons to be interesting, but that’s really about it.

I give Kiss of a Dragon, 2.5 stars.

Thank you for stopping by!

See you soon, and Happy Reading!
