November & December Wrap Up + BOOK HAUL! | 2018

monthly-wrap-up-book-haul-1Hello friends! I’m back, finally. And it’s nearing the end of this year! Woah, this past year went by so quickly, so I’m certain that the next years will go by even faster.

The break I had taken from blogging was actually a great thing that I chose to do. Not only did I decide at the last minute to hand craft a bunch of gifts this year, but I did so with very little time left in the year. Now that the holidays have passed I can read again!!

Having not reading as much as I wanted to these last few months have been a huge bummer. I still read here and there, and there was even a week or two where I did nothing but read or watch anime and catch up on a few youtube videos, but I missed being able to read whenever I wanted to, and I missed being able to participate in the book community.. Like I said though, I did manage to read a bit!

With this post being a wrap up of the last two months of my life, not much has happened on Adele Is Reading, thus, the Wrap Up’s are going to be shorter than usual.

November 2018

As I just said, there isn’t much that happened in my life reading wise, but I did do a bit of book shopping in November.

What I Read this past November:

I also managed to read a volume of manga.

  • Waiting for Spring Vol. 01, by Anashin — 4 stars

I tried reading Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman but alas, it just wasn’t for me, so I marked it as Did Not Finish (there will be a review coming soon).

  • Hunting Ground (Alpha & Omega series, #2) by Patricia Briggs
  • Fair Game (Alpha & Omega series, #3) by Patricia Briggs

And then these two are in Hardcover.

  • Children of Blood and Bone (Legacy of Orïsha, #1) by Tomi Adeyemi
  • These Rebel Waves (Stream Raiders, #1) Sara Raasch

Though the two hardcover novels were a gift from a friend of mine.

The top three books I bought via Amazon for $1.99, and the rest of the books I downloaded for free mostly on Amazon.

I should not be allowed to visit BookBub. At. All. I mean, these books were mostly free (all except 4 of them) but…..when will I find the time to read these books when I know there are so many other books out there as well.

I know I haven’t been around much (if at all) these past few months, so I’m quite happy to be back. Aside from being away from blogging, I haven’t been reading other people’s posts, so I don’t know what’s what. If I missed any thing you should definitely let me know!

And book wise, I have no idea of any new releases, nor do I know about any upcoming books that I should know about. If you could recommend me some I’d be thankful!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Thank you so much for sticking with me through this hiatus.

I’ll see you in the New Year, 2019!
