“You have as many mistakes to make as there are stars in the sky.”

I liked that there was a new character introduced, and that Gareki had new chances open up to him.

I also ended up laughing in this first part of the book, more than I thought I would.

Another thing that I enjoyed about the first half of the 7th Omnibus was that we got to read more of Tsubame-chan’s story line. I’m glad that we see her grow into the person she is, even if we only got snippets of her story here and there.

In the second half of this manga volume, there were some great action sequences.

I also loved seeing everyone together again. Seeing the gang all together again was very cute to me. I know I’m talking like these characters are my distant relatives but honestly, with everything that has happened in the past 7 Omnibus’s how can they not be family at this point?

Another thing that I enjoyed about this seventh omnibus was that plot twist! Totally didn’t see that coming.

I give Karneval Omnibus 7, 3 stars.

It was adorable and heartwarming to see everyone believe in Gareki.

The story and overall manga moves very quickly–faster than normal, actually. Though this first part of the 8th Omnibus felt more like a filler with some background information that would lead up to what was about to happen in the second part of the book.

At the end of part one, I legitimately didn’t know how to feel about what I had just read. There’s some interesting stuff that happened yet nothing that I loved about it.

All there is to say about the last part of Karneval Omnibus 8 is that the ending has me concerned for the next omnibus book. Especially because the ending to this 8th book hints at a lot of trouble for the 9th book.

I give Karneval Omnibus 8, 4 stars.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

If there’s a manga that you think I should read and review definitely let me know! I’m open to just about any manga recommendation.

Happy Reading!
