With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn’t know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won’t keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust. The same person who saved her life. He promises to help Juliette master her powers and save their dying world . . . but that’s not all he wants with her.
My thoughts on Ignite Me is that Ignite Me is a heavy action, fast paced novel. I was entranced
; both times I’ve read this now, from the moment I opened flipped open the cover. There are so many emotions that take place throughout Ignite Me. The emotional high stakes are no joke.
What I didn’t like about Ignite Me was that Adam was such a douche-canoe. I honestly don’t know what to think of Adam other than I feel an incredible amount of pity for him. At times he can be so manipulative. When Adam isn’t concerned about James, Adam always thinks of himself, but he does it in such a way that…is manipulative to get the things he wants.
What I like/d about Ignite Me is that Juliette has grown into herself. She isn’t that helpless little girl that everyone and herself thought she was. Juliette is stronger now than she ever has been before. I like that she stands up for herself, and that she has a goal to work towards now.
I loved that the bad guy got what he deserved, honestly. I’m incredibly glad that Juliette had the willpower to get through her hardships and come out on the other side a changed person — someone for the better.
I like that Juliette realized her goal in the last book, but played it out until the end in Ignite Me.
Overall, my thoughts on Ignite Me are that I knew that with not having read Ignite Me for a few years that I’d forget quite a bit. I didn’t realize that I had forgotten so much.
I’m really looking forward to reading Restore Me.
I give Ignite Me 4 stars!
