Books that Remind Me of Autumn

BOOKS THAT REMIND ME OF AUTUMN & WHY??

Hello! I thought today’s post would be about the books that remind me of Autumn, and why they do so. So without a further adieu, here are the books that remind me of Autumn!

These books have a certain colour scheme, or for some subconsious reason, the cover just strikes me as Autumn. Or I’ve read the book and in my head I now associate a certain book with the Autumn months. Are there any books that remind you of Autumn/Fall? Let me know!

  • In a Handful of Dust (Not a Drop to Drink, #2) by Mindy McGinnis

The cover for In a Handful of Dust has, for most of the cover, the autumnal tones. The reds, the oragnes, a bit of yellow, and a bit of brown as well. But as you can see by looking at the cover, Lynn and Lucy are walking down a wheat/oat field. To me, autumn is filled with Apples, Pumpkins, and corn fields. Sometimes wheat fields.

  • The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (#1) by Michelle Hodkin

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer doesn’t have a particularly autumn colour scheme. However, when I look at the cover, I think of the darker side of Autumn that isn’t really discussed, but felt.

  • Beautiful Decay by Sylvia Lewis

Beautiful Decay’s cover absolutely has an Autumn feel to it. The story as well!

  • The Witch’s Daughter by Paula Brackston

Do I need to explain? The title explains it all! The cover also reminds me of Autumn, since the boots are too cute, and the red dress (?) on the cover.

  • The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa

The Immortal Rules is the first book in the trilogy called Blood of Eden. I’ve put down The Immortal Rules as a book that reminds me of Autumn because of the vampires that are in this book.

  • Harry Potter series by JK Rowling

I’ve got to put this series in as well, since the illustrated versions are so. Great. Amazing. I’m just reminded of Autumn whenever I think of the books.

  • November 9 by Colleen Hoover

There are two reasons why November 9 reminds me of Autumn. The first reason is because of the title. All of those oranges and colours on the cover totally remind me of the first few weeks of Autumn when the leaves are changing colours! The second reason is because of the uniqueness of the book. Basically the book only takes place on one day a year, for a few years.

  • Wood by Chelsea Bobulski

That autumn feel with the cover, but since there’s a wickedness feel in the synopsis, I think that it’d be a very good spooky read.

Are there any Autumn/Fall books that I haven’t mentioned that remind you of Autumn/Fall? Let me know!

Happy Reading!
