Hello everyone! Today’s post is the first of many! I’m now posting my short reviews on the Manga’s that I read and what I thought of them. I will try to post these once a week, on Thursday’s. I hope you enjoy! — Adele
Yato is a stray god. He doesn’t even have a shrine, not to mention worshipers! Hoping he’ll eventually raise enough money to build himself the lavish temple of his dreams, Yato accepts all kinds of jobs. Of course, he can’t afford to be picky; from finding lost kittens to helping a student overcome bullies, no job is too small for Yato, the god-for-hire! An eccentric story with a charming cast of characters!
When I was first introduced to the Noragami: Stray God series, I watched it as an Anime. I enjoyed the anime so much that I consider Noragami: Stray Gods to be one of my favourite animes.
When I borrowed this first Noragami: Stray Gods volume, I expected to enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the first few episodes of the anime. And I did!
It was great seeing Yato and Hiyori again. Especially Yuki! I honestly love this trio so much. While we only got a sneak peek at Yuki in this volume, I know that I’ll be seeing more of him in the next volumes.
The story line in Noragami made sense to me — which is a bonus. To be honest, the first few chapters flow really well. And I’m glad that Yato’s…likeness showed up in this volume as it did throughout the anime.
I will definitely be reading more volumes of Noragami: Stray God!
I gave this first volume of Noragami: Stray God, 4 of 5 stars on Goodreads!
Happy Reading!
Adele
