Hello reader/s! I hope you’re well today! I’ve decided to have a weekly post about books that are on my TBR. TBR, if you don’t know is the abbreviation for To Be Read. My goal here is to shed some light on books that I’ve otherwise forgotten about. These books could be books I’ve been meaning to read from the library, or books that have been collecting dust on my shelves at home. My goal though is to say a little about the book and also give a little reasoning of why I want to read them.

I’ve been having fun these past ten weeks, with writing these posts, and taking pictures of my books. There was one time where I felt a little burdened by blogging, but that’s just because I hadn’t worked out my time wisely enough. However, I’m excited to be doing today’s post because I’ve been looking forward to this tenth post for so long! I told myself, that when the tenth post came around, I’d feature two books that I’ve read.

It has been literal years since I’ve read either of these books, and for the most part, I’ve completely forgotten about the happenings of these books! The books that I want to talk about in this post are Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr, and Evermore by Alyson Noël. Both of these books are Urban Fantasy, and both of these books coincide with each other in my mind. I read them around the same time some years ago, and since then, they just appear in my head in relation like two siblings would.

Wicked Lovely is the first book in a 5 book series. I believe that I’ve only read the first and second books, so I didn’t get that far into the series itself. I’m really looking forward to getting to know Aislinn and the other characters again. I love books about the Fae. Fae are  up there in my favourite type of genre for stories. If there’s a book about Fae, and I don’t know of it, I’m usually all over the book. I don’t know what it is about the Fae, but they just spark my curiosity.

I loved Wicked Lovely the first time I read this book, and I hope that when I get around to reading Wicked Lovely again, that I’ll love the characters and the story just as much as the first time I read this book! I think I’m most excited for…well…everything! I’m trying to keep my expectations low, because I know with my experience of reading books, I have extreme reactions. I always end up loving or hating the books.

Evermore by Alyson Noël is the first book in a 6 part book series. The Immortals series is described as “addictive”, and “beautiful”, and from my memories, I have to say that the critics are right. From what my memory tells me, I was addicted to this series pretty quickly. I read the first three books, and then after that I think I lost interest totally.

However, I am once again interested in reading this series! I think what I’m most interested about with re-reading Evermore is getting to know the characters again. I was super confused about a few characters when I first read Evermore, so hopefully, with re-reading the books I’ll get a better grasp on everything – not to mention, everyone as well.

Alrighty, folks! That’s all for this week’s TBR Tuesday post! I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed making it! – I don’t know if I should keep these special re-reading TBR posts to every ten posts, or every five posts. I do have a lot of books that are on my To Be Reread list, though. What do you think?

Thank you for reading!

Adele

P.S. – Can you imagine? It’s been ten weeks already! This is so awesome! I want to say Thank You, because I love making these TBR Tuesday posts. These posts let me explore my shelves again; for books that are otherwise forgotten about. — And I don’t know if these posts reach anywhere, but that’s okay, because I’m having fun writing out these posts in the mean time.

Thank You so much for reading my TBR Tuesday post!
