Hello! I hope you are doing well! — I don’t usually find myself reading books that have the theme of Summer, but lets give it a go!

  • Open Road Summer by Emery Lord

It’s been a while since I’ve read this book, but Open Road Summer is exactly that.

  • We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

Unlocks her past to see what has happened. This book made me cry a few times. Like, I was actually full out, 100% ugly sobbing. The kind that’s quiet, and no one really hears you until you gasp for more breath. You get my drift. I actually really enjoyed this book, and even though I haven’t reviewed it yet, I would suggest it to anyone. This book took me completely by surprise!

  • Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson

I don’t think I’ve reviewed this book yet. I should get on that! Since You’ve Been Gone is such an important book to me honestly. I read it a little over a year ago? Give or take a few months. I absolutely loved it. I’ll be keeping this book for a while, just to remind myself to get over my fears of the world, and to remind myself that I can do whatever I need to do if I put my mind to it. This book is about find out more than just the normal, hidden away lifestyle. It’s about overcoming your anxieties, and believing in yourself, with a twist of friendship and love.

  • Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson

I haven’t even read this book yet, but I know that this book is about Summer. And more importantly, reconnecting with your family, and finding and reconnecting with your old could-have-been love.

  • The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han

It has been a while since I’ve read this book. I still remember what happens though. And in short: The Summer I Turned Pretty is about how life could be during the summer. So many things could happen, and when you’re away on vacation, everything seems limitless within the course of two months. Yet, everything could change in an instant.

  • Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson

OK, it has come to my attention because of this post that Morgan Matson, is like, the queen of Summer Contemporary Romance novels. I read this book, and discovered how much could happen on a road trip, and what taking control of your life could lead to.
