April 2016 | Wrap Up

Hello all! I hope your April was well for you. April on this blog was a busy one! I don’t think I’ve had a busy month like this April in a while!

Top 5 Wednesday was going strong this month! I heard over on Goodreads that the group is getting a new Moderator. So I hope that the change will be minimal? I really like doing Top 5 Wednesday posts, and while I’m looking forward to the new Moderator, I hope that she keeps the group the same, but in her own way.

For my Top 5 Wednesday posts there was:

As you may, or may not know, I started a new type of post on this blog called TBR Tuesday! I’m still pretty excited about it! TBR Tuesday is just a way for me to highlight 2 books that are on my TBR list. I have quite a few books I have on my TBR that seems to grow each and everyday. Yikes! TBR Tuesday is a way for me to bring to light the books that I have forgotten about, and just to blurb a little about them before I actually read them.

I know it’s been a while, but I posted a Friday Finds post in a different style. I think I can do more posts like these, but in this new style. I still have no idea when I’m going to do the next one. Maybe I’ll do them only once a month?

I read quite a few books this April. I managed to read 15 books, and they are:

  • The Escape by Hannah Jayne,
  • Truthwitch by Susan Dennard,
  • When My Heart Was Wicked by Tricia Sterling,
  • Wicked by Jennifer L. Armentrout,
  • Asunder by Jodi Meadows,
  • The Assassin’s Curse by Cassandra Rose Clark,
  • The Summer of Chasing Mermaids by Sarah Ockler
  • Tiger’s CUrse by Colleen Houck
  • Under Threat by Robin Stevenson
  • Notes from Ghost Town by Kate Ellison
  • The Dare by Hannah Jayne
  • The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine
  • Becoming Alpha by Aileen Erin
  • Half Bad by Sally Green
  • Bad Boy Rock Star by Candy J. Starr

There were a lot of book reviews this month!!
