Before we get anywhere, I just want to say that I changed the name of the tag. The original tag for this tag is either “I Love Spring Book Tag” or “Spring Books”, and I don’t enjoy either of those. I know I sound obnoxious for saying that, but it’s true.
How is Spring where you live?
Spring where I live; which, by the way, is on the West Coast of Canada.. Spring where I am usually depends on whether on not it snowed the past Winter or not. Last year it had only snowed for about an hour or so, and it didn’t stick for that long at all.
Spring in my part of Canada is beautiful. There are flowers blooming, the trees are getting their leaves back. Bees are buzzing around. The birds are chirping on the trees in my complex. It’s bright out by 7:30AM… You can just really tell that the Earth is waking up again. I love Spring in Canada!
Most anticipated book release this Spring?
My most anticipated book release of this Spring would have to be Glass Sword by Victorica Aveyard; which I’ve bought, and is sitting on my shelf waiting to be read. A Court of Mist and Thorns by Sarah J. Maas, which I don’t have because it’s not even out in stores yet. The Rose & The Dagger by Renee Ahdieh which comes out in APRIL!!! There’s also The Last Sacrifice by Rick Yancey, and then there’s CAN MAY COME SOONER? And The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater, even though by this time I haven’t read Blue Lily, Lily Blue yet.
What is a book that makes you think of Spring?
This might be a little messed up, but If I Stay reminds me a lot of Spring. I say that because the residual feelings I have from this book are telling me that Spring is surrounding this book.
Where are you going to read this Spring?
Mostly my bedroom, or maybe at the library. Or maybe even on the bus to and from the library.
A cover with the sun on it?
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey, Emancipated by M.G. Reyes, both have suns on them!!
What are your favourite Spring reads?
I don’t usually have books that I re-read specifically in spring actually! But books that feel Spring to me are the Anna and the French Kiss series by Stephanie Meyer.
A book with different colours on it?
I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson, Watched by Shardee Richardson and Zodiac (also Wandering Star) by Romina Russell all have the colours of the rainbow on their covers!
