Hello everyone! This weeks Top 5 Wednesday post is about Time Travel!! More specifically, Books that Feature Time Travel. So here are the books that I could think of.
Passenger by Alexandra Bracken
- Passenger takes place in a lot of time zones. In the sense that each time the MC’s traveled, they went to a different time…zone.. Does that make sense to you? It makes sense in my head…
Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
- This book takes place in two time zones, which was nice. I don’t particularly like these books, but thats alright! The time zones that take place in this first book is in the 21st century; I’m not 100% sure on what year the MC was born in.. but good portions of the book take place in the 40’s if I’m recalling that correctly.
The Invasion of the Tearling by Erika Johansen
- Oh man, this book. I wasn’t actually sure if it was time travel or not when I was reading this book. With looking at The Invasion of the Tearling on GoodReads, I discovered that yes, this book does have time travel.
- OK, so this is a pretty big spoiler. I won’t say much beyond the fact that yes, I’m pretty sure there is time travel in this book.
- I actually completely forgot about Landline!! But there is indeed time travel! In a really unique way too! Travelling back in time through a phone call is super weird, yet it fits this story.
There are obviously more time travel books out there. I’ve probably read a few more than the 5 listed here, but these are the first 5 books that I came across in my findings.
Thanks for reading!
Adele
