Hello lovelies! I hope the past 29 days have treated you well. February has always felt weird to me. February is always a few days short.. So it’s never really felt like a full month, like I got ripped off 2-3 days of my life. Anyway! Not much a lot happened this month for me. I was wither too wrapped up in creating blog posts for this blog, or I was creating post headers. Which, by the way, was challenging for a photoshop newbie like myself.
Other than that, I bought quite a few books. Permantently Free E-Book Book Haul & Library Books Book Haul, where I bought books from the library. Even though they’re used, they’re in relatively great condition!
This month was the first month in which I participated in the weekly Top 5 Wednesday book meme. The first post was about Biggest Baddasses, the second being Books I Was Spoiled For… The third and fourth posts are called Best Suggested Books I Loved, and Worst Love Interests.
I also posted two Friday Finds! Friday Finds is where I post and talk a little about books I found lately. #3, and #4 are the this months Friday Finds posts.
I also managed to read a few books. Seven to be exact! Which was so relaxing to me, I feel like I haven’t really geared down and read in a long time!
The first book I read was Storm Siren by Mary Weber. Storm Siren surprised me, really. I didn’t think that the story would all fold out the way it did.. I am freaking out about reading the second book. I don’t want my heart to break even more!! I’ll be posting the review sometime this week, so stay tuned!
The second book I read was Daughter of Dusk by Livia Blackburne. What an ending! This duology will be on my mind for years to follow.
I read The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau for the Bookaholics Group on GoodReads Group Monthly YA Dystopian read. I didn’t expect the story to go down the way it did to be honest. I’ll try to post the review sometime this week, if not, next week!
I finished reading the ARC of Dead Ringer by Jessie Rosen. No review yet, because I haven’t been able to form coherent thoughts on what I think of the book.. I probably won’t be continuing on with the story though. …Even though the ending is so intriguing.
I read a book that I been waiting literal years to read. Aurora Sky: Vampire Hunter, Volume 1 by Nikki Jefford. You can read my review here. I also read the second book to the series called, Nothern Bites. — I’m loving this series to be honest. You can read my review here.
I did a little read-a-long with my friend. We started, and finished reading Passenger by Alexandra Bracken! We also read The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black. We both read these books for the first time ever!! I liked both stories, but I have a particular love for Coldest Girl in Coldtown. I don’t have a review yet for either books.. I totally forgot that I should have been taking notes, haha.
I also read a New Adult novel. I’m trying to read more new adult books, so if you have any recommendations please tell me! The last book of this month I read was, The Deal by Elle Kennedy, and I loved it so much! The review will be up sometime in March (2016).
Adele Is Reading
