Here I document (in my own way) what I get out form the library and what my thoughts are about the books, before I actually read the books.
Lets see what I have out from the library now, shall we? I currently have out:
The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey
I’ve heard some really great things and then I’ve heard next to nothing about this book. I’m really curious as to what happens in this book. And once I saw the cover of the book I knew I wanted to read it, but I knew that I didn’t want to buy it. Something is holding me back from buying it! I guess it’s my gut telling me “No! You already have a shite ton of books! Get this one from the library!” Excited to read The Girl at Midnight, but not so excited to see that its the first in whatever the story ends up being. (A series or something).
Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry
Motorcycle bad-boys who are actually the good guys? COUNT ME IN! I’m a sucker for a good love story and I hope this lives up to what I have in mind. – I thought that this book would be a standalone but according to GoodReads, it isn’t. So that’s a bummer.
Say Her Name by James Dawson
I am actually really excited to read Say Her Name. If I recall correctly, my friend LOVES this book. She said it creeped her out and the story of the book is just really great as well. So I’ve taken a chance and borrowed this book from the library. Yay!
Sisters of Blood and Spirit by Kady Cross
I originally saw this on Netgalley, was denied to read it, went to a store for a different book and was tempted to pick this up as well but didn’t. So I now have it from the library! – Im not too excited that this book is the first in whatever is going to end up to be. I’ll take a shot at it though.
